1974 Founded and incorporated.  Opened doors of child care program at the American Legion Hall in September.
1975 Through largely volunteer efforts and materials, renovated and moved into new “home” in South Wolfeboro.
1976 Became the first mainstreamed Preschool Special Education Program to be certified by the New Hampshire Department of Education
1980 Designed and conducted the Early Intervention Program for children between the ages of birth to three with/or at risk of developmental disabilities.
1981 Purchased the building in South Wolfeboro.
1985 Opened a pilot infant-toddler program at All Saint’s Episcopal Church
1986 Pursued and completed a Community Development Block Grant and Capital Fund Drives for the construction of a new building central to the Wolfeboro community.
1988 Established Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund.
1994 Pursued and completed a Community Development Block Grant and Capital Fund Drive for the construction of an addition that would provide a permanent home to our school age population and afford us the space needed for our preschoolers Earned accreditation from the National Academy for the Education of Young Children.
1996 Recognized by the College of Lifelong Learning for its commitment to continued professional development.
1997 Planned and conducted a county-wide, voluntary prevention program funded by the NH Division for Children, Youth and Families. Became a site for nurse consultant services to insure premium physical health care to the children in partnership with the Visiting Nurse Association.
1998 Created and operated EXPAND, a summer recreational program for socially and emotionally challenged school age children.
1999 Created and operated EXPLORE, a summer school age program designed to acquaint children with the natural beauty and history of New Hampshire.
2000 Created and operated HOPE, a family service program designed to meet the needs of preschoolers experiencing social and /or emotional difficulties. Became a partner in the Lakes Region Early Care and Education Financial Initiative to explore long term solutions for financing quality early care and education
2001 Launch of $2 million Mission Endowment Campaign
2003 Created the fundraisers “Community Spelling Bee” and a spring sports sale. Parents and staff operated the 4th of July carnival and Home for the Holidays.
2004 Raised $1.5 M during the Center’s Mission Endowment Campaign. Developed a large garden and rock climbing area to allow the children to explore nature.
2005 Recognized as one of NH’s ten Exemplar Program in the nationwide Strenthening Families initiative. Instituted Family Fun Days.
2006 Started health and fitness initiative, including weekly fitness class for all preschoolers.
2007 Guided by a nutritionist, crafted a center-wide nutrition policy that encouraged healthy choices, variety and appropriate portions. Increased whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables.
2008 Started energy assistance program for families in need.
2013 Magic Moments Preschool started with the Lakes Region Technology Center
2015 Brain Boost after-school program started.
