Girls and boys of all ages are invited to come dressed as fairy princesses or adventurers to The Children’s Center’s seventh annual Fairyland Festival. The world of fairies returns to Cate Park in Wolfeboro on Saturday, July 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, July 9.

This year, why not add to the landscape yourself? Anyone wishing to create and display a fairy house should call The Children’s Center at 569-1027 or download a form at Fairyland Festival Registration.

Picturesque Cate Park located next to the town dock in Wolfeboro transforms into a magical fantasyland with delightful one-of-a-kind, handmade fairy houses prominently displayed or tucked within natural surroundings. In addition to viewing the houses, there will be a scavenger hunt, dancing ballerinas, face painting, the chance to build a fairy house on site, and a boutique offering fairy wings, crowns, wands and much more.

Admission to the event is a suggested donation of $5 per person or $15 for a family. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Proceeds benefit The Children’s Center.
