Linda is the teacher for the Snapdragons, a classroom for ages 3 to 4. Prior to that, she was a teacher for the Playful Penguins, for the Little Tikes in the center's toddler program, and for the center’s preschool program. She has worked at the center for more than 25 years.

Past employment

Linda started working at the center during high school.

Linda has a child care certificate and six college courses toward her associate’s degree in early childhood education from the College of Lifelong Learning. She is certified in CPR and first aid.

On working at the Center

“It has been very rewarding for me. I like to know that I can inspire children to do their very best. In my longtime commitment to the center, I have had a second generation of children in my care.”

Teaching Philosophy

“Children are our future educators and if we don’t educate them, who will? The children are a constant reflection of the things that are being taught to them.”

Linda has two children, Marina and Sean, who both attended the center from 6 weeks old.
